Welcome to Storey School Digital Classroom. My name is Mr. Real. In this class, we take a portion of what would be taught in a regular classroom, digitized it, and present it in the computer lab setting. This class serves Story Elementary School students, grade 1-6. It takes place in the computer lab.
The class sessions meet for 45 minutes, once every other week, outside of the regular classroom. During this time students utilize technology to explore and guide their learning in a portion of the topic normally covered in their regular class. The Digital Classroom lessons are presented in a projects based assignments that are in-depth and curriculum guided. Students will also have opportunity to improve their technology skills through the usage of Google Apps and online research. In one form or another, we are in our sixth year of this "Digital Class". Student projects will be shared with classroom teachers and post online as soon as they are completed. I hope to continue these sessions in the years to come.
